So it’s ideal for new build, retrofit and low energy houses – and is accredited by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation for compliance with funding schemes.
Save on running costs, while optimising comfort
Daikin Altherma LT Split delivers major energy savings, while maintaining a constantly comfortable room temperature. User friendly smart controls ensure energy efficiency across all seasons, keeping running costs low, without compromising on comfort.
Efficient in any climate
The new outdoor unit is designed to withstand even the most severe winter conditions and will operate when the temperature falls to -25°C. So Daikin Altherma Low Temperature Split really is the low temperature heat pump to suit all climates.
The Daikin Altherma Low Temperature Split is available with Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation. As well as being a welcome assurance of the highest standards, MCS accreditation also means that the new low temperature pump is eligible for RHPP funding – and the planned RHI tariff launching in Summer 2013.
The Daikin Altherma high temperature heat pump will provide your home with heating and hot water. It’s an ideal replacement for a traditional boiler as it connects seamlessly to your existing piping and radiators, making it the perfect solution for renovations!
The outdoor unit includes a heat pump which extracts heat from the ambient air and transfers it to the indoor unit via refrigerant piping.
The indoor unit receives the heat and uses R-134a refrigerant to increase the temperature. Although it may sound strange, a refrigerant is a substance which is used to transfer heat.
The heat is transferred from the refrigerant circuit to the water in the system. This means that temperatures can get as hot as 80°C without using an additional heater.
